Tuition fees are reasonable in Holland.

Outside 2Education in Holland is not free, but tuition fees are reasonable. The latest Worldwide Cost of Living Survey shows that the cost of living in Amsterdam is modest compared with cities like New York, London, Paris and Beijing.

Below you find an indication about the annual tuition fees at Dutch higher education institutions. Please note that although most programmes will fall in this range, you may find programmes with higher or lower tuition fees. In the Study in Holland database of English-taught programmes you can find the exact tuition fee for your programme.

  • Bachelor degree (3 or 4 years): from 3,000 to 8,000 euro

  • Master degree (1 or 2 years): from 4,000 to 13,000 euro

Experience has shown that students living and studying in Holland for one year spend between €800 and €1,100 a month.
