Study programmes

RSM offers 14 pre-experience Master programmes (MSc). Our 12 month programmes are:
Business Administration, (track Accounting & Control), Business Information Management, Chinese Economy & Business, Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing, Finance & Investments, Global Business & Stakeholder Management, Human Resource Management, Management of Innovation, Marketing Management, Organisational Change & Consulting, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management.

The MSc in International Management / CEMS offers an unrivalled start to your business or management career. The MSc in International Management is combined with the CEMS-MIM programme to bring you two degrees in one world-class 18-month programme.

RSM also offers a 16 month General Management programme aimed at bachelor graduates from non-business bachelors.

All these full-time programmes do not require working experience and are, depending on the programme, open to students with a bachelor degree  of a research university in business administration, engineering, finance, economics and accounting and other disciplines. General Management is open to  bachelor degrees from research universities in any discipline.

RSM OTS 1RSM is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second largest city and largest commercial port. As an integrated transport hub, Rotterdam is reputed as the gateway to Europe and thus serves as the ideal setting for a premier, international business school.

For the academic year 2012/2013, RSM will offer financial assistance to one or two outstanding MSc. applicants (excluding the MSc International Management / CEMS programme) from Mexico. Several partial or one full scholarship (a tuition fee waiver) will be granted, depending on the quality of the applicants.

  • Benefits per scholarship: full or partial tuition fee waiver with a maximum of € 15,450
  • Eligible programmes: Master of Science (MSc.) programmes, excluding MSc International Management/CEMS
  • Application deadline: For this scholarship the application deadline is 15 May 2012
  • RSM OTS 6Additional information: The value of the partial scholarship is € 7,725 (halve of the regular tuition fee) and € 15,450 for the full scholarship. The Dutch Government requires students to pay a minimum fee of approximately € 1,735.

Requirements

  • Academic requirement: Bachelors or Masters degree
  • English level: TOEFL iBT score 90, IELTS score 6.5 or Cambridge Diploma CAE or CPE
  • GPA: Applicants are expected to have obtained a grade point average (GPA) that is equivalent to 7 out of 10 in the Dutch system, which is considered to be above average.
  • Additional diploma: GMAT with a minimum score of 600
  • Working experience: no, working experience is not required
  • Additional requirements: For some of the MSc programmes additional requirements are applicable. Please check www.rsm.nl/masteradmission for the detailed selection criteria, deadlines and to apply online.

Documentation

  1. RSM OTS 4A copy of the online application request form signed by you.
  2. A copy of your passport (the passport must be valid).
  3. A recent passport size photo.
  4. A certified copy(*) of your secondary education diploma and academic transcript. If the original documents are written in a language other than English, Dutch or German you will need to provide an official translation along with certified copies in the original language.
  5. A certified copy(*) of your university diploma(s) and academic transcripts/records. If the original documents are written in a language other than English, Dutch or German you will need to provide an official translation along with certified copies in the original language. If you indicated on your application form that you have not completed your bachelor studies yet, please send us an official copy of your academic record(s) completed so far and enter the date you are expected to fulfill all requirements necessary for graduation. Applicants are required to have completed their bachelor programmes before 1 September. Applicants who fail to meet this requirement will not be allowed to start their master's programme.
  6. A copy of your GMAT exam results. GMAT exam results can be verified online if you have given RSM permission to access your score. The institution code for our General Management Programme is: QK8-CX-36 and for all other MSc programmes: QK8-CX-28.
  7. Proof of proficiency in the English Language. RSM will except test scores from the following examinations: TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge and Common European Framework Levels (CEF), No other English Language tests will be accepted. TOEFL and IELTS exam results can be verified online if you have given RSM permission to access your score. Please note that we still expect you to send us a copy of the test report as part of your application package. The RSM institutional code for TOEFL is 7199. 
  8. Your Curriculum Vitae.
  9. Any other additional certificates or documentation relevant to your application.

(*) A certified copy is a copy (often a photocopy) of a filed document, legal or other, which contains a seal that establishes the document as genuine. Thus, it should have a stamp (an original seal or embossed design) and signature stating that it is a true copy. A document may be certified by an official record keeper, a clerk/official of the university/school, or any other authorized person.
