About the Faculty of Applied Sciences
The Faculty of Applied Sciences is the largest faculty of TU Delft and is at the frontier of contemporary engineering science. Researchers of the Faculty are active in a range of fields, including nanotechnology, quantum transport, robotics, biotechnology, molecular engineering, energy-efficient industrial processing, nuclear science, sustainable energy technologies, optics and imaging. Much of the research being carried out at the Faculty is interdisciplinary.

The Faculty of Applied Sciences is proud to support this international cooperation and is offering a full scholarship for the 3rd consecutive year to assist an excellent Mexican student in pursing an MSc study at the Faculty.
Faculty of Applied Sciences MSc programmes and the Orange Tulip Scholarship
TU Delft’s 2 year MSc programmes are conducted fully in English and include coursework, an internship, and a research thesis.
The TU Delft, Faculty of Applied Sciences Orange Tulip Scholarship is a full scholarship covering tuition fees and living expenses. It is open to excellent Mexican applicants for the following MSc programmes:
- Applied Physics, tracks: BioNanoScience; Imaging Science & Technology; Multi-Scale Physics; Quantum NanoScience; Radiation, Radionuclides & Reactors
- Chemical Engineering, tracks: Molecular Engineering, Process Engineering, Nuclear Science & Engineering
- Life Science & Technology (Department of Biotechnology), tracks: Biochemical Engineering, Biocatalysis, Cell Factory
- Science Education and Communication, track: Science Communication
- Sustainable Energy Technology, research areas: wind energy, solar energy, energy from biomass, hydrogen storage, electrical power engineering, energy & society
Scholarship information
- Number of scholarships: one
- Benefits per scholarship:
- Full tuition waiver: € 25,300 (€ 12,650 per year for the 2-year programme)
- Contribution towards living expenses worth € 800 per month
- Visa costs (will be automatically deducted from the amount the student receives for living costs) - Eligible programmes: Study programmes of the Faculty of Applied Sciences:
- MSc Applied Physics
- MSc Chemical Engineering
- MSc Life Science & Technology (Department of Biotechnology)
- MSc Science Education & Communication

Requirements
- Academic requirements: Bachelors degree in a related field, as specified per programme on the TU Delft website
- English level: TOEFL iBT 90, IELTS 6.5 or Cambridge English Certificate
- GPA: At least 85%
- Working experience: No, working experience is not required
- Additional requirements: Applicants must meet the criteria above and be in the process of applying to or be already admitted to one of the TU Delft - Faculty of Applied Sciences 2012-2014 MSc programmes listed above.

Applicants must apply both to the MSc programme through TU Delft and the Orange Tulip Scholarship through Nuffic Neso Mexico.

- Certified copy of original transcript, as well as a certified copy in English
