International students are allowed to study in Holland for a certain set number of years, which is generally equal to the number of years of the study programme chosen plus an additional two years. This means that the total duration of study will depend on the type of study you choose.
For example, a Bachelor’s programme in economics with a study duration of three years, followed by a Master’s programme in economics with a study duration of one year would allow you to stay in Holland for a maximum of six years.
