Nuffic and NESO
Nuffic Neso Mexico is a non-profit organization funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education. Nuffic Neso Mexico is the representative office of Nuffic, the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education. Nuffic Neso is the official representative in Mexico for all matters concerning Dutch higher education and promotes and provides information on more than 1,400 study programs taught in English in the Netherlands. Nuffic Neso Mexico also initiates and facilitates institutional cooperation between Mexican and Dutch universities.
Nuffic is the Netherlands organization for international cooperation in higher education. As an independent, non-profit organization based in The Hague, the Netherlands, Nuffic supports internationalization in higher education, research and professional education in the Netherlands and abroad, and helps improve access to higher education worldwide. Nuffic plays an important role in fostering international cooperation in higher education between the Netherlands and other countries.
Nuffic Nesos are Nuffic Netherlands Education Support Offices, the overseas offices of Nuffic. As one of the overseas offices, the main tasks of Nuffic Neso Mexico is to promote Dutch higher education and foster institutional cooperation between The Netherlands and Mexico in order to increase student and staff mobility and related activities. The Nuffic Nesos promote Dutch higher education, positioning it in the international marketplace in competition with other study destinations. This means that Nuffic Neso Mexico serves a wide range of target groups and partners: Dutch and Mexican students, alumni, academics and other knowledge workers, Dutch and Mexican higher education institutes or umbrella organizations, the Dutch government and other stakeholders.

Summary
The main task of the social service intern will be to assist in developing internal activities of the Nuffic Neso office. This includes daily office procedures, processing survey results and fairs registrations, etc.
Education
We are looking for someone who is in the final stage of his or her Bachelor’s degree (“licenciatura”) and needs to complete his or her social service. The student needs to be accurate, enthusiastic, interested in working for an international organization and must like to work in a team. He or she should be fluent in English. It is important to have experience with working with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
