Foreigners likewise Mexican citizens can apply for a Conacyt scholarship if the postgraduate program is on the PNP (Padron Nacional de Posgrado).
The higher education institute is the one responsible for applying to the Conacyt scholarship in behalf of their students. The institute makes their own selection. Therefore, you must first be accepted to the study program and the higher eduation institute should find you eligible for the Conacyt scholarship.
The scholarship consists of a monthly amount for daily expenses.
- Specialization course: 6,068 pesos (approx)
- Master program: 6,826 pesos (approx)
- PhD: 9,102 pesos (approx)
