Mexico Pre-Departure survey report available

Nuffic Nesos organise pre-departure briefings in the respective Neso countries, to address culture shock and possible educational problems, to aid students on their journey and to prepare them physically as well as mentally for the prospective study and stay in the Netherlands.
During the pre-departure meetings a survey is held to identify:
- the profile of the students who have been accepted to Dutch higher education institutions (who are they, what and where will they study in Holland, why did they choose Holland and how will they finance their stay);
- their information sources (which information source triggered them, which information sources did they use and which did they find most valuable);
- their use of Nuffic Neso services (which service did they use and which had an impact on their final decision);
- their expectations with regard to living and studying in Holland.
In July 2011 Nuffic Neso México held a survey among 48 participants at the pre-departure briefings in Mexico City and Monterrey. The report, which can be found on Nuffic's market information website (login required), contains the main results of this survey.
