UNAM dominates postgraduate studies offer

The institute that offers the largest quantity of postgraduate programmes to the largest quantity of students in the Mexico City metropolitan area is the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Postgraduate programmes in MexicoThe Reforma newspaper did a research among 48 universities in Mexico City and the metropolitan area. According to their data, UNAM offers 116 postgraduate programmes to 23,875 students. In the top five of institutions with the largest number of postgraduate programmes, UNAM is the only public university.

The second place is occupied by Universidad Panamericana with 57 postgraduate programmes and Anahuac del Norte takes the third place. The La Salle University and the Mexico City campus of Tec de Monterrey completed the top five.

If you look at the number of students, UNAM is followed by the Universidad del Valle de México, with 3,890 students registered in their postgraduate programmes. Escuela Comercial Cámera de Comercio comes in third place with 1,500 students and Unitec in fourth place with 1,477 students.
