Holland Alumni Network Mexico established

In December 2008 Nuffic Neso Mexico established the Holland Alumni Network Mexico (HANM).
Mexicans who spent time in the Netherlands for study or research purposes are eligible to join the HANM. The aims of the network are to initiate, facilitate and strengthen contacts and communication between alumni and between alumni and the Netherlands generally and, more particularly, in the academic, educational and business communities.
Events for alumni
HANM will organize events for alumni on a regular basis and keep them up to date about Holland, education in Holland and business opportunities through its website and newsletter. Neso, the Dutch Embassy and alumni themselves will sit on an HANM advisory committee.
The network will also provide various services for Dutch higher education institutions, such as the organization of alumni events in Mexico, event promotion and alumni relations.
Nuffic Neso has recently sent out an e-mail to all Dutch higher education institution alumni officers informing them about the HANM and asking them to send out personal invitations to their Mexican alumni urging them to register with the HANM and to attend the opening reception.
