This is the tenth edition of this ranking, which makes it a well-established document. The most important higher education institutions participate in this ranking. Since employers are very important in this ranking of the universities, it is interesting to see that private institutions score slightly better than public universities. Comparing the general ranking per field to the ranking according to professors shows that professors in many study fields prefer the UNAM over other (private) institutions. Only for two study fields professors prefer private institutions over public universities.
