Since 4 years, the top three business schools have been the same: IPADE, EGADE and ITAM. They are the best in the search for finding talent at job agencies of businesses and their own executives. They all have highly educated staff with international experience, international accreditations (two with ´triple crown´ accreditation) and an extensive international network (IPADE works closely with Harvard).
Expansión also published a ranking of the 60 best business schools in the world. Harvard is leading the ranking with Stanford University and the London Business School being second and third. There are no Dutch or Mexican universities in the ranking.
Furthermore Expansión published a list (not a ranking) of a selection of postgraduate programs that assure standards of quality in its education. They researched universities that offer postgraduate courses in areas such as finances, marketing, human resources, public administration, economy, international and innovative business.

Methodology
The ranking was developed by sending out hundreds of questionnaires to Mexican business schools and thousands of emails to former students over a period of four months. Over a period of two months, surveys where send to business schools around the world. Information was received from as far as Nanyang Business School of Singapore.
The next step was the processing of retrieved information and the application of the methodology. The following weight was allocated to each category:
- Composition of the academic staff (15%): Professors with doctor´s degree, and if one obtained it in Mexico or abroad.
- Publications (10%): Production of knowledge carried out by the academic staff, in world renowned articles, books and the output of cases.
- Distinguished students (10%): Degree which was selectivity applied by the schools and the opinion of the graduates on its companions of their programs.
- International Relations (10%): With which global institutions the school is related and what its accreditations on international level are.
- Progress in ones career (25%): Impulse that the MBA offers the career, in salary and labor position.
- Evaluation of graduates (10%): Opinion of the graduates on its experience of the MBA. It considers the program, the professors and the contact networks. The survey was sent by e-mail through the system Tralix, arriving at 825 graduates. 438 answers were obtained.
- Evaluation of subscribers (20%): Prestige and positioning of the schools according to our readers. The survey was carried out by e-mail and 780 answers were obtained.
Finally, ties were established if the difference among schools was smaller than 2%.
